Description of a vacancy

The international medical humanitarian organization, which has been engaged in humanitarian activities around the world for more than 50 years, in connection with the increase in the staff of the Ukrainian representative office, announces a competition for the position of Assistant to the Head of the Mission, Kyiv (contract).

Purpose of the position:
Provide support to the mission by assisting the Head of Mission in the administrative part of coordinating tasks, ensuring smooth relations with local and national authorities, facilitating context and security analysis, providing written and oral interpretation.

Responsibilities:

Assisting the manager in analyzing the context of information for the coordination group, regularly informing about key issues, updating information for internal documents of the organization;
Consulting on the cultural compatibility of the organization's activities and individual behavior of team members;
Keeping records of data and contacts for various administrations, agencies, local authorities, etc.;
Presentation of the organization if it is necessary;
Ensuring control of the organization's administrative and permit documents;
Preparation and organization of informational briefings;
Translation of documents, oral interpretation at meetings if necessary;
Trips in Ukraine to accompany team members.

Requirements:

University Degree in law, political science, international relations, social sciences or journalism;
Administrative experience from 2 years;
Fluency in English.
